Absence

Faking the 'presence' of an exhibit. The exhibit comes from a can of Coca-Cola that I drink daily, which I have kept as a master copy for the 'exhibit'. It has been reproduced and the details blurred out to replace a conventional exhibit. They are set up as a pair of excavated objects, one of which is in an absent state. The 'trace' is therefore an aid to prove that it was 'once present'. Of course, as a fictional approach, 'traces' falsify authenticity while also amplifying the resulting chronological discrepancies.
