Newsprint, Newspaper rack

Referring to the typesetting methods of domestic news newspapers‭, ‬I combined the Internet's clickbait titles‭, ‬which have no context‭, ‬with the logical but useless content information randomly generated by the computer‭, ‬interspersed with striking pictures‭, ‬so as to make a new newspaper in an orderly way‭.‬

People will be attracted by headlines‭, ‬advertisements and pictures in this newspaper‭, ‬but can not find the‭ "‬truth‭" ‬they expect in‭ ‬the content‭.  ‬Behind this‭,  ‬reflecting on people's excessive‭ ‬addiction to sudden‭, ‬random‭, ‬absurd and‭ ‬other information contents in the‭ ‬information society‭, ‬and the‭ ‬influence of diverse and‭ ‬fragmented information‭ ‬output on people‭.‬

I used this part of newspaper pulp as raw material to make footballs, and let them roll and collide through the audience's spontaneous game behavior in space, The entertaining and disturbing nature of the game behavior corresponds to the state of the information diverging outward.

Mosaic

The mosaic, which is somewhat obscure and ambiguous, is often used in scenes of privacy or violence. In my first work, City Journal, the mosaic element is also used. Here I have made the mosaic three-dimensional, using the apple as a master to influence the visual change of shape through the alteration of parameters, again describing the phenomenon of cognitive bias that often results from the processing of information in everyday life.

Excavation Pit

Gypsum‭, ‬Bricks‭, ‬Loess

I built an imaginary future archaeological excavation pit. According to the different unit size of modern archaeological excavation pit, chose its minimum size proportion. At the same time, I took modern information storage media as "archaeological artifacts", removing their original functionality, only retaining different types of morphological characteristics. Supposed in the future, is it possible to know what it is only from its shape features?

The future of archaeology is in the imagination of the people. From the original function of the information storage media, it may be the resource pool in the future, like a kind of "archaeological pit" to be excavated, which also brings more possibilities and imagination for future archaeology. I take the current visible archaeological excavation site as the background experience to assume a future scene and try to present a reasonable but also absurd future archaeological conjecture with the known experience.
