Gilles Deleuze and Guattari put forward in the Chapter “The Smooth and the Striated” of the book A Thousand Plateaus that “The two spaces exist only in mixture: smooth space is constantly being translated, translated into a striated space; striated space is constantly being reversed, returned to a smooth space.” Starting from the concept of smooth space of Nomadism aesthetics, the chapter emphasizes that smooth space may interfere with stripe scopes of traditional space and link the expansion of space infinitely. In this way, the space is mixed with the power of smoothness and stripe, which divides and combines the smooth space and striated space, making them both diachronic and simultaneous and constantly varying and adapting to each other. In these constant variations, with the fluid transition between smooth space and striated space, individual and collective consciousness has mobility. The individual and the collective are like a network of veins, which are independent and intertwined. The individual psychological forms are closely related to society. Therefore, artists then set out to explore the invisible connection based on their own life, which flows in the smooth and striped space. Due to the different migration backgrounds of individuals, such nomadicity flows to another country based on their personal experiences. Their nomadic temperament is connected with the society, which can return to itself again while providing some connection. However, in this fluidity and variation, the nomadicity may dissipate or become more exaggerated.
