The inspiration for the work came from my family photo album. The photos were taken from the 1990s to 2005. These photos contained the life records of my family and my childhood. When I faced these photos again, I felt that my memory of these photos was very vague. The relationship between them was like bricks in ruins. They still seemed to be connected, but it was difficult to build. So I made them into memory bricks and tried to classify, arrange, combine and stack them through weak memory impressions, so as to find new connections or clues, or reflected the original disordered and scattered state of memory in this process.

At the same time, the existence of these photos means the reappearance of some moments. a "ruins" built from memory bricks also seems to meet the public's desire and curiosity to peep into the hidden corners of memory, and in the "ruins", audience can perceive other's emotions and imagine the events behind images .
