Diary 3
Diary - 2022.03.23~2022.05.25
I collected the ashes and cigarette butts left behind by the cigarettes I smoked over a period of time, marked the dates, put them in glass jars, and arranged them in squares according to the corresponding dates to record the things I consumed during this period. It forms a sort of correspondence with the hair in Diary I, the former coming from my body's metabolism and the latter being the result of my subjective choice, both being consumed on a daily basis as an externalization and extension of my emotions or state at a certain period of time.

It's about how I "light a cigarette" - taking a cigarette apart, burning out all the parts, and keeping the final trace. This is a strange behavior that occurs to me at a certain moment, a subconscious decision about how to light a cigarette as an object. I record the process, in which everyday emotions are consumed in tandem, forming a correspondence with the cigarette that is burning.
